Work commences on the Scania

My girlfriend Cara tries the engine for size! Thats 11 litres, love, and 320 wild stallions under the cab. Should be enough for even the steepest of Himalayan roads. For those spec hungry anoraks out there it's a Scania 113H 320, with four wheel drive, a ten speed range change gearbox plus two speed transfer box.
The truck has been hard at work for the past couple of years in South America, and then sat on a ship for a few weeks. Although its been well maintained, it still needs a thorough going over before it's ready for another voyage.

Man from DSA, he also say OK

Becasue the Scania I'll be driving has more that 16 passenger seats, it's technically a bus, even though its quite blatantly a lorry. Therefore I've had to sit my PCV driving test because my HGV licence doesn't cover it. Confused? So was I. A broken coach meant that I had to take a second attempt to pass (I know, lame excuse!) but I got through in the end with only two minors. Yay!
